How do I choose the right GPS tracker or service?
First, define which features you expect from the service now and which you might need in the future as your company and fleet grow. Check whether the application you're considering offers them. You may only see the GPS tracker during installation, but you'll be using the web application for years – so how clear and easy to use it is matters too. Choosing a specific GPS tracker is then just a matter of you (or us) finding the features that solve your problem. It may seem simple: there are many types and the price differences are small, but your choice can affect installation costs and, above all, the features the monitoring system can provide from the collected data. We'll be happy to help you decide. We can also go through how your company works today and propose a complete solution ourselves.
If we decide on a service with more features in the future, will we need to replace the GPS trackers too?
Not at all – your company can grow with us without any problems. We can move the same GPS tracker to a higher plan and add more features, all while keeping the application clear and easy to use. We only switch on the modules and features you need. What comes first is the purpose you're buying the service for, along with user comfort and clarity.
What is the difference between the Ecofleet platform and SensFleet?
On this website we present both platforms. The Ecofleet platform is the most comprehensive solution and lets you make full use of all modules and features. The SensFleet platform, on the other hand, offers the basic, most frequently requested features, with more to come soon. You may only need a basic solution for now and decide to try the cheaper version. That's fine – you can switch to Ecofleet at any time, even with the same GPS trackers. If you're not sure which version you need, get in touch – we'll gladly go through your individual needs and propose the best solution.
Will I see absolutely everything you offer in the “Free demo” version?
You'll see the complete basic version and some important modules. If you're interested in a specific module and can't find it in the trial version, contact us on +420 703 170 899 or at obchod@satelitnisledovani.cz and we'll arrange something individually.
Will a fleet analysis really recommend the most suitable solution for me?

Do I have to keep an electronic trip journal?
In the Czech Republic, you are required to keep a trip journal (vehicle logbook) whenever you claim a VAT deduction on fuel and parking, and whenever you claim vehicle costs of more than CZK 5,000 per month. An electronic trip journal makes this obligation much easier, because with GPS it can be written fully automatically.
